Tolerances of sheet metal processing
The tolerances of sheet metal processing mainly include the following aspects:
Dimensional tolerance: refers to the allowable deviation between the dimensions of the sheet metal part and the dimensions required by the drawing.
Form and position tolerance: refers to the allowable deviation between the shape and position of the sheet metal part and the shape and position required by the drawing.
Surface roughness: refers to the roughness of the surface of the sheet metal part.
The tolerance grades of sheet metal processing are generally divided into:
Precision grade: IT01, IT0
Higher precision grade: IT1, IT2
Medium precision grade: IT3, IT4, IT5, IT6
Lower precision grade: IT7, IT8, IT9, IT10
Strokes of sheet metal processing
The stroke of sheet metal processing refers to the allowable displacement of the sheet metal part during processing. The strokes of sheet metal processing mainly include the following aspects:
Feeding stroke: refers to the allowable displacement of the feeding mechanism during feeding.
Bending stroke: refers to the allowable displacement of the bending machine during bending.
Punching stroke: refers to the allowable displacement of the punch press during punching.
Welding stroke: refers to the allowable displacement of the welding machine during welding.
Precautions for sheet metal processing
The following aspects should be noted in the processing of sheet metal processing:
Material selection: The material of sheet metal processing should meet the requirements of the drawing and have good machinability.
Selection of processing technology: The processing technology of sheet metal should be selected according to the shape, size, and accuracy requirements of the sheet metal part.
Selection of processing equipment: The processing equipment of sheet metal should have sufficient accuracy and rigidity, and be able to meet the processing requirements.
Technical level of operators: The operators of sheet metal processing should have a certain level of technical level and operation experience.
Safety production: Sheet metal processing should pay attention to safety production and prevent accidents from happening.
